NETS: National Education and Training Seminars

NETS is the annual combined National Education and Training Seminar held by NPCA and the New Zealand Biosecurity Institute (NZBI). The diverse presentations, field trips and workshops are of interest to anyone interested in invasive species management in New Zealand. Needless to say, NETS events are also invaluable opportunities to meet and exchange ideas with colleagues from all around the country.

NPCA ensures that there is plenty about vertebrate pest control, including updates on the latest research findings and control techniques, as well as practical training and upskilling opportunties.

For many years, NPCA held its own technology transfer conferences for the vertebrate pest control sector. However, there were clear benefits in bringing together people involved with all aspects of biosecurity in New Zealand. So, in 2012, NPCA and NZBI joined forces in NETS.
