Key points on the 2018 course programme are:

Both the North Island and South Island venues at Palmerston North and Invermay Research Centre near Mosgiel have good classroom and teaching facilities as well as easy access to habitat areas for the course field work.

A designer course to accredit designers to develop and design monitoring operations is scheduled for Wellington.

Courses can also be run at any venue provided there are sufficient participant numbers. Three such courses have been run in recent times at Kaitaia, Waipoua Forest and Raurimu.
